Beautiful Black Lake has much to offer visitors. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lake Bryan Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Brazos River. Road-runners Camp Ground is a great local campground; a delightful close by hotel is LaSalle Hotel. Having a fine time at Black Lake is simple. After a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn By Marriott Bryan is a wonderful location to spend a night or two.

| | Take a hike on the Yegua Creek Park Nature Trail, and Black Lake is a location with many visitors from College Station-Bryan. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Lake Somerville Trailway, and if you came for an overnight stay Timberlake Mobile Home Park is a brilliant place to camp. High temperatures at Black Lake all through the warmest time of the year are in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 70's. | |

All through the winter highs are in the 50's while Black Lake night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 30's. The yearly precipitation here at Black Lake is about average; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and August on the other hand is the driest.
