Rhyne Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and if you came for an overnight stay Pops Landing Campground is a wonderful place to camp. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Daingerfield State Park Trail, and Warners Landing

The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Birdie Lake. You don’t have to go far from Birdie Lake to catch a glimpse of the water at Birdie Dam, and stop at nearby Minnow Ponds. Birdie Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
