Big Lake Dam is worth visiting while you're here, and La Quinta Inn and Suites Glen Rose is a glorious spot to get some rest. Get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Paluxy River, and do take a look at Polnac Lake, it's a pretty lake. If you go for the outdoors, you'll go for Big Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Big Lake has to offer, you can camp at Oakdale Park, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Bosque Trail. Take a little journey to Flag Branch while you're here at Big Lake, and this is a popular location for people from Granbury. This lake is so wonderful. On a
delightful day at Big Lake you can take a hike along the Dinosaur Valley State Park Trail; you can stay the night at Oakdale Camp N Fish. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on North Bosque River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; going for a hike on the Meridian State Park Trail is always a good adventure.
