Many people like to go to Big Eddy. A delightful close by hotel is Best Western Atascocita Inn & Suites, and there's good hiking along the Reveille Park Trail. Big Eddy sees pretty high levels of rain; through the month of May you get the most rain around here; August is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop at nearby Granite Creek if you're here at Big Eddy, and a magnificent location close by is Spring Gully.

| | Bakers Lake is near Big Eddy. Throughout the days of summer at Big Eddy highs are regularly in the 90's, and the night is a bit cooler of course, generally in the 70's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's, and overnight lows at Big Eddy all through the wintertime generally dip into the 30's. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Big Eddy; Cage Elementary SPARK Park Trail is a nice local trail. There's so much to do here at Big Eddy that you need to camp | |

Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things near Big Eddy. After a long day outdoors Super 8 East Beltway Houston Channelview is a fine spot to
spend a night or two, and Big Eddy is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Hunter RV Park is a wonderful local campground. An attention-grabbing thing to take a look at in the vicinity of Big Eddy is Lake Houston Dam, and
if you've had enough of Big Eddy, Little Eddy is nearby. If you're dropping by Big Eddy from Houston-Baytown-Sugar Land, you won't be the only one, and Big Thicket National Preserve is a very glorious location to take a look at.
This lake is so wonderful. The Armand Bayou Nature Center Trail offers hiking at its best; a round of golf at nearby Newport Golf Club is a good way to kill some time.
