If you came for an overnight stay Lake Somerville-Birch State Park is a great spot to camp. The warmest time of the year at Beaver Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 70's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 50's while Beaver Lake overnight low  
   temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. Berry Creek is a lovely stream that is worth stopping at, and if you need a location to stay Knights Inn College Station is a good choice.
