This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Site Number Twenty; glide down the rapids of Onion Creek in a kayak. Go for a hike on the Rock Shelter Trail, and a splendid location to camp here at Barth Lake is Leisure Camp and RV Park. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Barth Lake, and       the overnight is a little chillier of course, commonly in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Barth Lake. If you need a location to stay Best Western Lockhart Hotel & Suites is a magnificent choice; pleasant water scenery is available at Barth Lake Dam next to Barth Lake. Site Number Fifteen is a nearby lake that you could visit, and Barth Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at,                  Lockhart State Park is a delightful local campground. Barth Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular spot for people from Austin-Round Rock, and going for a hike on the Onion Creek Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Barth Lake.
