hike on the Onion Creek Trail. Be careful coming to Barth Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. The good people of Austin-Round Rock like to hang out nearby, and at Barth Lake Dam close to Barth Lake there are some
out of the ordinary things to see.
This lake is so wonderful. Take a side tour to Elm Creek. Barth Lake gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; the month with most of the rain is May, and January is when it's the driest.
Lockhart Inn is a good spot to get some rest, and delightful hiking is available along the Rock Shelter Trail.
