During the long summer days at Barry Lake highs are regularly in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 70's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at Barry Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. Barry Lake gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here, and January is when it's the driest. Whitewater       paddling is pleasant on Sandy Creek. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Barry Lake. There's some flowing water nearby, Arant Creek is a stream you can stop by during your stay, and lakes are such calm places, why not pop by Kingsland Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Inks Lake State Park Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Barry Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sherwood Forest RV Park.                  A brilliant view of delightful Little Sandy Mountain is available from Barry Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Longhorn Cavern State Park Trail. Hiking along the Cedar Point Recreation Area Trail is perfect fun, and Barry Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Longhorn Resort is a great site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Packsaddle Country Club is a pleasant golf course nearby; if you need a place to stay Quality Inn Marble Falls is a great choice. Dry warm beds await you at Marriott Horseshoe Bay Resort, and the scenery at Barry Dam is charming.
