After a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn AND Suites Kyle is a splendid site to spend a night or two, and enjoy a round of golf at Plum Creek Golf Course. Lake Number 1 is a nearby lake that you could go to; going for a hike on the Onion Creek Trail is always a wonderful adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Southgate Inn & Suites, and there are great       places to discover along the Rock Shelter Trail. A lake close by is M D Heatly Reservoir; in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Barton Creek. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Barron Lake has to offer, you can camp at Plum Creek Recreational Vehicle Resort, and you can take a little spree to Barron Lake Dam since you're here at Barron Lake. High temperatures at                  Barron Lake all through the months of summer are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 70's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Barron Lake during the wintertime regularly dip into the 30's. Barron Lake is a good site of common precipitation; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Lots of folks from Austin-Round Rock come to Barron Lake. This place is unbeatable, just check out all the entertaining things to do near Barron Lake. Barron Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, Crestview Rv Center is a good site to camp nearby, and Onion Creek is a great whitewater spot nearby.
