This lake is so wonderful. Range Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to, and you'll meet a lot of people from Corsicana here. Bardwell Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the month with most of the rain is May while January is mostly the driest month. Do have a look at Lake Clark in the vicinity of       Bardwell Lake, it's a picturesque lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Bardwell Lake; Waxahachie Trail is a magnificent local trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff close to Bardwell Lake. A nice close by hotel is Quality Inn Ennis, and Bardwell Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Oak Cove Marina and Campground is a magnificent local campground. At Bardwell Lake through the long summer days highs are in                  the 90's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 70's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 50's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Bardwell Lake tend to be in the 30's. There's whitewater on Waxahachie Creek - South Prong for all you adrenaline junkies.
