It's always fun to stop by Baldwin Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Man, is there plenty of amusing things to do next to Baldwin Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Heartland RV Park is a great place to camp, and Elkins Lake Dam is a location that is next to Baldwin Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Huntsville here; if you're a golfer then a nice nearby course is Raven Nest Golf Club.

| | great campground here, and hiking along the Green Loop Trail is good fun. Do have a look at Azalea Lake near Baldwin Lake, it's a lovely lake, and do take a hike on the Huntsville State Park Trail. Going for a hike along the Lone Star Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Huntsville Tx Days Inn is a great location to get some rest.

place gets highs in the 60's, and nighttime lows at Baldwin Lake through the winter frequently drop into the 30's. The yearly rainfall here at Baldwin Lake is about average; during May this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
