For the period of the warm months highs here at Baker Lake reach the 90's while overnight lows are mostly in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Baker Lake are in the 30's. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Baker Lake. A lake nearby is McCormick Lake, and if you came to camp Lake Somerville-Birch State Park is a tremendous site       to do that. This lake is so wonderful. The cheerful people of Brenham like to hang out nearby; Econo Lodge Brenham is a great place to get some rest. Baker Lake is a good spot of typical rainfall; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most, and July on the other hand is the driest. Why not check out Baker Lake Dam while you're here, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Brenham. This lake is so wonderful.                  If you're here at Baker Lake, you could go to Bridge Creek, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Brazos River. The Yegua Creek Park Nature Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close to Baker Lake, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Lake Somerville Trailway.
