Bachman Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Sunset Trailer Park #2 is a pleasant local campground, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the L B Houston Park Nature Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into       a kayak and hit Furneaux Creek, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Trinity Creek Mountain Creek Preserve Trail. Lakes are great; West Dallas Housing Project Lake is a lake that's near Bachman Lake, and if you're visiting from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington, you won't be the only one. Visit Bachman Branch while you're here at Bachman Lake, and MCM ELEGANTE-DALLAS is a tremendous place to get some rest. Through the summer here at Bachman Lake, high                  temperatures commonly reach the 90's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, ordinarily in the 70's.
