Carmona Lake
I'm not sure there is a public Carmona Lake. Years ago there was a private lake in the approximate location shown on the map, but the old access road is now closed. There is no marina on the lake to my knowledge. Can anyone give specific directions to ''Carmona Lake''? Any additional info would be appreciated. Thanks, Lee Mathews...
Lakeside RV Resort and Marina
13 miles away Nice campground. However I would hold off until all construction has been completed. Great prices and nice scenery. One problem was that probably due to construction the ants were out in force. Once completed it will be one of the nicest parks on the north side of the lake.......beauty surrounding the lake. Silhouettes of majestic palm trees along the shore highlight the view from our brand new Marina! We feature 40 covered slips; all with electric sling lifts, water and electric service. We offer reasonable rates for daily, weekly or monthly rentals. If you're feeling lucky, you can make your way to our fishing pier to cast your line for Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Striped Bass, and various other species. Whether you're looking for a steak, a cold beer or just good old Texas cooking, you?re in luck! Head on over to the Lakeside Bar & Grill, our magnificent 6,000 sq. ft. full-service restaurant / check-in center, where we can satisfy the smallest to the most generous of appetites. We have an extensive menu featuring mouthwatering steaks, fresh seafood and delicious sandwiches. We also feature a bar offering a full selection of beer, wine and cocktails. We are proud of our extensive, well-maintained facilities and understand the home-away-from-home needs of today's RV traveler. Our resort amenities include: beautifully landscaped grounds, 150 ...
4 - C National Recreation Hiking Trail
17 miles away Just hiked the 20 mile trail north to south yesterday. Nice terrain, but the trail is in horrible shape. It looks like there has been no maintenence this year. In some parts, brush covering the trail was higher than my head....The Four C's is a beautiful trail, representative of the pinewoods area. Be familiar with landmarks as they can be very tricky....
