This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a good nearby course is West Fork Golf Links at West Fork, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Pevehouse Lake. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Lakeview Marina is a delightful local campground, and Ramada Conroe/The       Woodlands is a glorious location to get some rest. Artesian Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes White Oak Creek, and nearby you stumble on the Stubblefield Lake Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. Lakes? Sure, Country Club Lake is in the neighborhood, and don't miss out on a great swamp; Contrary Lake is right here at Artesian                  Lake. Through the summer months at Artesian Lake temperatures are typically in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Artesian Lake. Going for a hike on the Huntsville State Park Trail is always a glorious adventure, and Artesian Lake is a place with many visitors from Huntsville.
