Summer at Armstrong Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Armstrong Lake. Armstrong Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month is August. This lake is so wonderful. Armstrong Lake is great       enough to spend more than a day at, Artesian Springs is a great local campground. Camping at Sawmill Town Campground Resort is always a brilliant experience, and why not take a little journey to Bayou Anacoco while you're here.
