Do go to A and W Ranch Lake near Andrews Lake, it's a pretty lake, and there's some flowing water close by, Brickyard Branch is a stream you can stop by during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Andrews Lake you can take a hike along the Double Lake Trail, and if you need a site to stay La Quinta Inn And Suites Conroe is a       good choice. If the weather is fine here at Andrews Lake, you can go for a hike along the Lone Star Trail, and since you're here, you could also check out pretty Lake Magnolia. Much rain falls at Andrews Lake; most of the rain falls throughout May; the driest month is July. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Andrews Lake reach the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's.
