There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Spring Creek River. Lakes? Sure, Box Lake is close at hand. At Anderson Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's. When the       night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 70's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's while Anderson Lake overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's. If you come at the right time of year, Furneaux Creek offers some great whitewater, and the Elm Fork Nature Preserve Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Near Anderson Lake you discover a golf course called Stewart Peninsula Golf                  Course, and if you're going to from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington, you won't be the only one. Anderson Lake gets a normal amount of rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; December on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Anderson Lake you can take a hike along the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Anderson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hall's RV Park. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Frisco, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Bob Woodruff Trail. If you adore the outdoors, you'll go for Anderson Lake.
