All through the winter this place gets highs in the 50's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Anderson Lake fall into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular site for folks from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington, and float down the rapids       of Spring Creek River in a kayak. Going for a hike on the Bob Woodruff Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and a great location to camp here at Anderson Lake is Hall's RV Park. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Frisco, Tx is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two, and you can go for a hike on the Elm Fork Nature Preserve Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Anderson Lake. Anderson Lake                  is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Thousand Trails LP is a glorious local campground, and Comfort Suites Frisco is a nice place to get some rest. Stewart Peninsula Golf Course is a magnificent golf course nearby, and paddling on Furneaux Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Anderson Lake Dam is not far at all from Anderson Lake, and nearby you come across the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail.
