    A visit to Amistad Reservoir is always a good idea. Lots of folks from Del Rio come to Amistad Reservoir, and McKee Springs is a beautiful location to visit while you're at Amistad Reservoir. Amistad Reservoir beyond doubt is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Lakes? Sure, Gillis East Lake is in the vicinity, and at Amistad Dam in the neighborhood of Amistad Reservoir there are some interesting things to see. Amistad Reservoir gets very little precipitation;  
   the month with most of the rain is September, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
Del Rio Inn & Suites is a good place to get some rest, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Walk Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Amistad Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Rough
 
               Canyon Marina.
Don't miss out on a spree to Amistad National Recreation Area if you're here at Amistad Reservoir; whitewater paddling is brilliant on Devils River. This lake is so wonderful. Devils River is a great local stream; you can stay the night at Broke Mill RV Park. During the days of summer at Amistad Reservoir highs are typically in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Amistad Reservoir temperatures fall to the 30's.

and private ownership begins. Briefly stated, the line is midway between the lower level of the water flow that just touches the cut bank and the higher level that just overtops
