Devils River is a nice spot to stop at, and there are plenty of folks from Del Rio here at Amistad Reservoir. Around Amistad Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; through September this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid place for whitewater paddling close to Amistad Reservoir is Devils River; a fine place to camp here at Amistad       Reservoir is Rough Canyon Marina. Through the days of summer here at Amistad Reservoir, high temperatures usually reach the 90's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's while Amistad Reservoir nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Amistad Reservoir. At Amistad Dam near Amistad Reservoir there are some out of the ordinary things                  to see, and camping at Broke Mill RV Park is always a fine experience. Put some time aside to spend at McKee Springs while you're here at Amistad Reservoir, and if you need a place to stay Del Rio Inn & Suites is a great choice.
