Yankapin Basin is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Reelfoot Lake State Park is a fine local campground; Rat Pocket is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Dry warm beds await you at Country       Hearth Inn Union City, and why not a little side journey to Black Slough. Summertime highs at Yankapin Basin regularly tend to be in the 90's.
