This lake is one of the great places here in the Great Smoky Mountains. Here at Witts Pond you'll probably meet some folks from Athens, and not far from Witts Pond you acquire some good water scenery at Yeller Nugget Lake Dam. Witts Pond is a rather wet place ordinarily with lots of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally March, that's the one that rains the most while October is typically the driest       month. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Tellico Plains Koa is always a good experience, and since you're here, you could also check out beautiful Yeller Nugget Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Coker Creek offers some tremendous whitewater, and the Doc Rogers Trail is a nice hiking trail close by. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Witts Pond. Sanford Gray Lake Number One is a nearby lake that you could have a look at,                  and of course Alvin Branch flows through this vicinity. High temperatures at Witts Pond through the warm months are in the 80's; the overnight is rather cooler of course, commonly in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Witts Pond. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Great Smoky Mountains. Witts Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Coker Creek Village is a glorious local campground; one of the main characteristics of the surroundings of Witts Pond is Borin Top. This lake is so wonderful. On a fine day at Witts Pond you can take a hike along the Conasauga Falls Trail. This site, the Great Smoky Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things.
