This spot, the Great Smoky Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Holiday Terrace Motel is a good location to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is great on Coker Creek. Witts Pond is one of the lakes here in the Great Smoky Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Witts Pond; Doc Rogers Trail is a good local trail, and why not camp at Coker Creek Village since you're       here at Witts Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Conasauga Falls Trail; some of the water nearby flows, like Alvin Branch. At Witts Pond through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 40's while Witts Pond overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 20's. Be careful coming to Witts Pond,                  you might not ever wanna go back home again. If you need a spot to stay Mountain Stream Lodging is a splendid choice, and camping at Witts Pond is fine fun, Tellico Plains Koa is a fine local campground. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Great Smoky Mountains. Get drenched paddling on Hiwassee River, and Yeller Nugget Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. People from Athens love to come to Witts Pond; from Witts Pond you obtain a tremendous sight of Borin Top. This lake is so wonderful. Yeller Nugget Lake Dam is beautiful and it's right next door to Witts Pond.
