Wispering Winds Lake is located in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Any time is a wonderful time at Wispering Winds Lake if you adore the outdoors. Near Wispering Winds Lake you find the Ridge Trail which is a good hiking trail, and if you need a place to stay Jordan Motel is a perfect choice. That right there is lots of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Cumberland Plateau Mountains       has it all. Wispering Winds Dam has brilliant water scenery and it's close to Wispering Winds Lake; Campbell Mountain is pretty and can be made out from here. A delightful close by hotel is Mountain View Golf Course; a wonderful place to take a look at is Bear Hollow. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Camping at Big South Fork National River is always a great experience; Clear Fork                  - North Prong has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by. Summertime highs at Wispering Winds Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are generally in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Wispering Winds Lake. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear Fork - North Prong, and you can go for a hike on the Lake Bluff Trail. Going for a hike on the Lake View Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and Wispering Winds Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Maple Hill RV Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
