If you need a site to stay Sleep Inn Etowah is a perfect choice, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Fishermans Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Williams Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's.       The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Williams Lake temperatures dip to the 20's. Nearby lakes? Sure, Mountain View Lake is close to Williams Lake; do take a hike on the Spanking Stump Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Put some time aside to spend at Plumlee Spring while you're here at Williams Lake, and Williams Lake is a great place to camp, Mc Clary Bend is a great place. Athens-Days Inn is a delightful                  place to get some rest, and there are plenty of people from Athens here. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Ridgewood Golf Club; hiking is a popular thing to do around Williams Lake; Gee Creek Trail is a perfect local trail. Williams Lake gets a lot of water; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. This place is peerless, just check out all the amusing things to do close to Williams Lake.
