If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CROSSVILLE is a good choice; popping by Obed Wild & Scenic River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Throughout the summertime, highs frequently are in the 80's at Wildwood Lake. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the       40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Wildwood Lake sink into the 20's. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Daddy's Creek, and some out of the ordinary geology is available here, Horseshoe Bend is right here. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Wildwood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bean Pot Holiday Trav-l-park is a delightful site for that, and if you're                  here, you could also stop by picturesque Larry Turner Lake. Wildwood Lake is a beautiful lake in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Wildwood Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Crossville Koa Kampground is a tremendous local campground, and if you're visiting from Crossville, you won't be the only one. Wildwood Lake commonly gets a lot of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain while October is regularly the driest month. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Wildwood Lake, so little time. While you're here at Wildwood Lake you can play some golf at Bear Trace Golf Course, and do check out Hale Lake, it's a stunning lake. Man, is there lots of exciting things to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Obed River, and some of the water close by flows, like Baker Branch. This lake is so wonderful.
