The warmest time of the year at Wildwood Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Wildwood Lake drop into the 20's. Why not camp at Chattanooga North KOA while you're here at Wildwood       Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Conasauga River Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Cleveland-Days Inn, and there are some great whitewater spots on Conasauga River. After a long day outdoors Cleveland Knights Inn is a pleasant location to spend a night or two, and there's some flowing water close by, Hicks Branch is a stream you can visit while here. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Chilhowee Rec Area - Cherokee National                  Forest is a perfect local campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Conasauga River offers some good whitewater. You're sure to come across some wonderful folks from Cleveland here, and Cherokee Springs Golf Course is a wonderful golf course nearby. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great earth it would be. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Wildwood Spring, and do take a hike on the Chilhowee Forest Walk Trail.
