If you're stopping by Wilbur Lake from Bristol, you won't be the only one; get soaked paddling on Doe River - Laurel Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Blue Spring is an inspiring location to have a look at while here, and nearby you find glorious places like Bishop Hollow. Go for a hike on the Morrill Trail, and a quick spree to Big Laurel Branch is undeniably a nice idea. Going for a hike on the Little Pond Mountain       Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Doe River. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. Near Wilbur Lake you come across the Pond Mountain Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and Wilbur Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. High temperatures at Wilbur Lake through the summer are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in                  the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Wilbur Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. No need to travel far to stop at attention-grabbing stuff like Bee Cliff, and if you came to camp Cardens Bluff Campground is a tremendous location to do that. After a long day outdoors Americourt Hotel-Mountain City is a good spot to spend a night or two. Wilbur Lake is a good site of normal precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout July, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
