A visit to Watts Bar Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Piney River Shoals is close to Watts Bar Lake and is without doubt a brilliant place to take a look at, and Watts Bar Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Lakeview Mobile Home Park is a great place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Carpenter Spring is always fun to check out, and there's some interesting stuff to spot at Watts Bar Dam next to Watts Bar Lake. Now,

Plateau Mountains. Just can't get enough of Watts Bar Lake. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Athens is a fine choice, and Stump Hollow Campground is a glorious campground nearby. Watts Bar Lake is right by the Laurel-Snow
Trail, and Dake Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. If you come at the right time of year, White's Creek offers some fine whitewater, and Lillard Bluff is a magnificent place to go to while in the neighborhood.
High temperatures at Watts Bar Lake through the days of summer are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's with temperatures at Watts Bar Lake dipping
down into the 20's all through winter nights. Watts Bar Lake gets lots of water; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October is when it's the driest.
