Many people like to go to Watercress Pond. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Watercress Pond. | | Bright Spring is always worthwhile. Watercress Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through March, and the driest month of the year is October. Camping at Hickory Star is always a glorious experience, and a great place is Brown Gap. This lake is so wonderful. in the 80's to Watercress Pond, and the night is a little cooler of course, usually in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at
Watercress Pond dip into the 20's. Cox Creek is a pretty stream that is worth taking a look at; in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River. This lake is so wonderful. A good
spot to camp here at Watercress Pond is Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp, and dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn & Suites Chattanooga I-24/Lookout Mountain.

River Bluff Trail

People who've hiked the trail along the Clinch River just downstream of Norris Dam could tell you about how good this place is for spring wildflowers. 3. 2 miles of trail with a nice blend of flat easy walking along the river coupled with a bit of climbing and a ridgeline hike back to the car makes for a good workout--but one you'll hardly notice due to the grand views of flowers and scenery.
Don't give up when you first start this trail because you'll see only a few flowers along the first 1/2 mile. Beyond that, you'll think you've entered some kind of wildflower garden. Honest--the displays are that good.
