If you are in this part of Tennessee make sure to pay a visit to Waller Pond. Summertime highs at Waller Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Waller Pond are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is AmericInn Jonesborough, and going for a hike on the Patty Ridge Trail is always a magnificent adventure. driest. Stay the night at Bigrock Campground, and you can go for a hike on the California Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nolichucky River. Not
enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Nearby Sand Valley is a wonderful place to go if you're at Waller Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Waller Pond has to offer, you can camp at Nolichucky Gorge Campground.
You could also go to Walker Pond while you're here at Waller Pond; it's close by, and don't leave Waller Pond without first going for a hike along the Clark Creek Trail.
