Red Fork Falls Trail
17 miles away
Yes, it is dangerous, I have fallen and slid all the way to one of the small pools after the falls....Hike is very short and falls are very beautiful… You can also camp close the parking area if you want to....my parents took me to red fork falls last weekend. it is beautiful. it is a short hike and very easy to get to. the only problem is the trail brings you out at the top of the falls instead of the bottom. you have to be very careful because the rocks are so slippery. my dad said he knew several people who had fallen from the top and 2 of them had actually died. so be very careful....

Margarette Falls Trail
18 miles away
A really nice walk with a few easy water crossings. The fall are beautiful in freezing weather. In hot weather the falls offer shady cool relief from the heat....

Spruce Thicket Trail
18 miles away
The spuce thicket trail is in bad shape. The flood in 2002 did alot of damage and the pine beetles that detroyed most of the pines in the area have left many blow downs I would not recommend this trail....

Bullen Hollow Trail
18 miles away
1 PHOTO
I hiked the bullen Hollow trail 2-2-08 with the Geenevile hiking club. This is an old atv trail and the first part is very steep climbing up through mountain laurel and hardwoods. After you reach the ridge line the trail levels and skirts the edge of a small canyon, with views of huge cliffs on the other side.Margarette falls are below this trail and you can here the creek all along the way. There is a nice lunch spot at the top when you reach an old logging road.I would rate this trail as moderate.Total milage 5 miles. National Geographic map # 782 will show you how to get to the trail head....

Wolf Laurel
20 miles away
