Lake, Carter Lake is nearby. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Paddling on Pine Creek is so much fun; Oneida Golf & Country Club is a golf course nearby.

Saddle Valley Campground
 | 17 miles away ...night there, all your gear will be at camp waiting on you. We'll have ''pulled pork barbecue and fixins'', get up to hot breakfast and ride back along the west side of river, up the ''horse ladder'', and along Jack's Ridge to Bandy Creek, and back to the campground. This will be a challenging ride, not for the faint of rump! When we leave the campground, all your gear will be loaded in our trailer, a hauled to the campsite, while you ride. Riders should bring a small tent, sleeping bag or bedroll, if you have a small cot, we can carry that also, a duffle type bag for clothes, grain for you horse, a nose bag for feeding works great also, we will provide grass hay. If you want to carry a cooler with your personal beverages, that’s also allowed. We will have a saddle bag lunch on the trail, and ride into camp, with the fire already going, and the barbecue smokin!
