High temperatures at Upland Lake through the summer are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Upland Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. Camping is available at Crossville Holiday Trav-l-Park, and Best Western Leisure Inn is a splendid place to get some rest. This lake is one of the great places here in the       Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Alice is near Upland Lake, and do pop by Duncan Creek while you're here at Upland Lake. Just can't get enough of Upland Lake. Paddling on Caney Fork is so much fun, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Clifty Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Upland Lake is not far at all from Crossville, and after a long day                  outdoors Ramada Inn is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. So much exciting stuff in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, just fantastic. Much rainfall falls at Upland Lake; the month with most of the rain is March, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
