Twin Lake is a beautiful lake in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. A lake close by is Spring Lake, and if you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel Crossville Tn is a great choice. All the water falling down from the sky makes Twin Lake a wet spot; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is October. One of the main features of the surroundings of Twin Lake is Big Level, and Crossville       Days Inn is a wonderful spot to get some rest. Be careful coming to Twin Lake, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Get covered with water paddling on Caney Fork, and there are plenty of folks from Crossville here. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Laurel-Snow Trail, and great water scenery is available at Twin Lake Dam next to Twin Lake. So much fun stuff to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, not enough                  time. Camping is available at Ballyhoo Family Campground, and drift down the rapids of Bee Creek in a kayak. The warmest time of the year at Twin Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Twin Lake. This site, the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining things. You could also take a look at Gross Lake if you're here at Twin Lake; it's nearby, and camping at Mountain Glen RV Park is always a pleasant experience. This lake is so wonderful.
