Good hiking is available along the Stiffknee Trail, and there's good hiking along the Crowder Branch Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight       stay Jake Best Campground is a perfect spot to camp; Turkeypen Lake Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. Turkeypen Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout March, and October is when it's the driest. Turkeypen Lake is one of the lakes here in the Great Smoky Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Blacksnake Branch flows through this region, and a nice place to stop at is Grant Hollow. You'll beyond doubt wish                  for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Great Smoky Mountains. The Big Stack Gap Branch Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you need a spot to stay Luxbury Inn and Suites is a brilliant choice. Just can't get enough of Turkeypen Lake. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Citico Creek, and if you're here at Turkeypen Lake, checking out Bolden Knight Bluff is a must. Doublecamp Campground is a fine campground nearby, and if you've had enough of Turkeypen Lake, Mulberry Lake is nearby. So many cool things to do at Turkeypen Lake, so little time. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Great Smoky Mountains.
