If you are in Cumberland county it's always a good idea to stop by Tranquilechee Lake. That right there is a lot of cool things already but it goes on, the Cumberland Plateau Mountains has it all. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Dunlap Creek. Super 8 Motel Crossville Tn is a tremendous spot to get some rest, and Tranquilichee Lake Dam is gorgeous. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Tranquilechee Lake is peerless! Get covered with water paddling

The high level of precipitation makes Tranquilechee Lake a reasonably wet place; March is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is October. The Cumberland Plateau Mountains scenery is always beautiful. If you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Spring City is a great choice. for a while, Crossville Koa Kampground is a glorious place for that.
This lake is so wonderful. Brady Branch flows through this area, and the Fooshee Pass Trail offers hiking at its best. At Tranquilechee Lake during the months
of summer highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Through the winter the highs are typically in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Tranquilechee Lake. Be careful
coming to the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. Stay the night at Stump Hollow Campground; Tranquilechee Lake is right by the Laurel-Snow Trail.
