There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Dunlap Creek; Tranquilechee Lake is not the only spot nearby, Hale Lake is a nearby lake. Tranquilechee Lake is near Tranquilichee Lake Dam which is a wonderful spot definitely worth a visit, and Howard Johnson Hotel Spring City is a pleasant spot to get some rest. Tranquilechee Lake gets a great deal of water; most of the rain falls       throughout March while October is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Tranquilechee Lake is right by the Laurel-Snow Trail; camping at Ballyhoo Family Campground is always a great experience. All year is a magnificent time in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. A good place to camp here at Tranquilechee Lake is Arrowhead Resort, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Crossville. This lake is so wonderful.                  The Fooshee Pass Trail offers hiking at its best. This place, Tranquilechee Lake, it just has so much outdoors fun stuff. There's some flowing water nearby, Brady Branch is a stream you can take a look at while here, and there's whitewater on Stinging Fork for all you thrill seekers. This lake is one of the great places here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Lots of people from Crossville come to Tranquilechee Lake; a lake close by is Ozone Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Tranquilechee Lake. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's.
