     Stay the night at New Smyrna Campgrounds; after a long day outdoors Days Inn Franklin Nashville is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. The warmest time of the year at Lake Tomlin arrives with high temperatures in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Lake Tomlin drop into the 20's. McCrory Creek flows through this  
   area, and the view of Patton Knob is beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful. A delightful lake like Lake Colonial Estates right next door to Lake Tomlin is a nice spot to pop by; you're sure to come across some great people from Nashville-Davidson—Murfreesboro here. So many amusing things to do here at Lake Tomlin, too pleasant to be true. There's so much to do here at Lake Tomlin that you need to camp here for a while, Music City Campground is a fine place
 
               for that; if you come at the right time of year, Little Harpeth River offers some great whitewater. Lake Tomlin commonly gets a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally March, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is October.
You'll discover a beautiful lake called Ashbaugh Lake near Lake Tomlin, and Ramada Franklin TN is a good location to get some rest.
