Monteagle-Days Inn is a glorious spot to get some rest, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the River Mont Cave Historical Trail. Here at Tom McBee Lake you'll most likely meet some people from Tullahoma; if you need a location to stay Best Western Smokehouse Lodge is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Little Fiery Gizzard       Creek offers some delightful whitewater, and swing by Falls Branch it's a perfect place to stop by. Kirby Smith Point is around here and always fine to go to, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Mont Milner Lake is just a very short distance away. High temperatures at Tom McBee Lake during the days of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in                  the 40's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Tom McBee Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. And that's not all you can do here at Tom McBee Lake. Tom McBee Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, South Cumberland RV Park is a brilliant local campground, and Russell Cave National Monument is a very good location to take a look at. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Tom McBee Lake has it all. Camping at Laurel Trails Campground is always a fine experience; if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Winding Stairs. It's always delightful to have a look at Jumpoff Falls, and Tom McBee Dam has tremendous water scenery. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Big Fiery Gizzard Creek, as expected you could also pop by Day Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.
