Russell Cave National Monument is a brilliant local destination here at Tom McBee Lake, and do pop by Tom McBee Dam since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Put some time aside to spend at Jumpoff Falls since you're here at Tom McBee       Lake; you'll meet a lot of people from Tullahoma here. Summertime highs at Tom McBee Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Tom McBee Lake. There's whitewater on Big Fiery Gizzard Creek for all you adrenaline people. Tom McBee Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, South Cumberland RV Park is a                  nice local campground, and you have to go to Kirby Smith Point when you're here. A great site to camp here at Tom McBee Lake is Laurel Trails Campground; a nice nearby hotel is Monteagle-Days Inn. A lake close by is Eva Lake; great hiking is available along the River Mont Cave Historical Trail. That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Tom McBee Lake has it all. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Smokehouse Lodge is a perfect choice, and obviously Falls Branch is a delightful stream that is worth taking a look at. This lake is so wonderful.
