Thompson Lake generally gets much precipitation; through the month of March you get the most rain around here; October on the other hand is the driest. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Thompson Lake is excellent! Camping at Traveler's RV Park is always a perfect experience, and Thompson Lake Dam is a delightful       place, definitely worth visiting. There are plenty of people from Columbia here at Thompson Lake. You'll hit upon a charming lake called Gary Lake near Thompson Lake, and Kings Creek Golf Club is a pleasant golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at River Road RV Park, and let's not forget Alexander Branch which is a stream that you may bump into while here. Best Western Spring Hill Inn & Suites is a great location to get some                  rest; a charming lake like Stone Lakes is a wonderful location to check out. For the period of the long summer days highs here at Thompson Lake reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's.
