Put some time aside to spend at Rushy Spring while you're here at Thomas Pond. Lakes are good; Gum Pond is a lake that's next to Thomas Pond. If you wish for a little side trip, try Finley Gap, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Dandridge Golf & Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Morristown here; Lake Cove Resort is a pleasant       campground here. Going for a hike along the Bunches Trace will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Pigeon River - Middle Prong. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Thomas Pond, too delightful to be true. Hiking along the Bunches Trace is magnificent fun, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Dandridge is a fine location to spend a night or two.                  White Pine-Days Inn is a great place to get some rest; Thomas Pond is a magnificent place to camp, Douglas Lake Camp Ground is a magnificent place. Thomas Pond is a relatively wet place mostly with lots of rain; through July this area sees the most rain while September is ordinarily the driest month. High temperatures at Thomas Pond during the months of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Thomas Pond nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's.
