The Cumberland Plateau Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Fern Lake is near Templin Pond, and Templin Pond is next to Baptist Gap which is certainly worth stopping at. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Pine Mountain State Resort, and lots of folks from Middlesborough come here. Not enough hours in a       day to enjoy the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. The Doublings Branch is a stream that you may stumble upon during your stay. There's so much to do here at Templin Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Paradise Cove RV Park is a glorious spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Templin Pond is a wet site that gets a good deal of rainfall; throughout July this area sees the most rain; October meanwhile is the driest month. Throughout the summer, highs                  commonly are in the 80's at Templin Pond. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Templin Pond. Take a hike on the Ridge Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Templin Pond has to offer, you can camp at Cedar Grove Marina and Campground. So many amusing things to do at Templin Pond, so little time. This is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes. Fern Lake is a lake around here; you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Chadwell Gap Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
