At Tellico Lake during the summer highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; overnight lows in the 20's for Tellico Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Fooshee Pass Trail; camping is available at Sweetwater Valley Koa. There's nice hiking       along the Iven Trail. Tellico Lake is a pretty wet place frequently with lots of rain; the month with most of the rain is March; October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Willow Springs Golf Course is always a joy, and there are some good whitewater spots on Gee Creek. A short tour to Denton Spring is always worthwhile, and a gorgeous lake like Sweetwater Creek Watershed Number One Reservoir is a fine                  spot to explore. Camping at Tennessee Country Campground is always a wonderful experience; a magnificent nearby hotel is Quality Inn & Suites. Just can't get enough of Tellico Lake. After a long day outdoors Hilltop Hotel is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and some close by water includes East Fork North Mouse Creek.
