     The beauty of Standing Stone Lake attracts many people from all around. A large amount of rain falls at Standing Stone Lake; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun things just keep reading. There's so much to do here at Standing Stone Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Standing Stone State Park is a pleasant spot for that; soar down  
   the rapids of Roaring River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park is a good choice; paddling on Flat Creek is so much fun.
Through the summertime at Standing Stone Lake highs are mostly in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Standing Stone Lake tend to be in the
 
               20's. You need to explore Barksdale Bend since you're here at Standing Stone Lake, and there are plenty of people from Cookevi lle here at Standing Stone Lake. Standing Stone Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Butlers Landing Campground is a fine local campground, and why not stop by nearby Indian Creek if you're here at Standing Stone Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Talley Hollow is right next door to Standing Stone Lake and is undeniably a great site to stop by. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites COOKEVILLE is a tremendous location to get some rest, obviously you could also take a look at Standingstone Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Standing Stone Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and if you've had enough of Standing Stone Lake, Dale Hollow Lake is close by.

Our rustic cabin offers an opportunity to enjoy the camping experience without a RV or camper. The Single room cabin, with a loft, is ready to accommodate up to 6 people. We have a Queen size sleeper sofa, a Full size Futon and in the loft area there is a full size platform style bed. The cabin has a ceiling light with a fan for cool breezes on a summer evening. The kitchen area is equipped with a toaster oven and coffee maker. We have a small table with seating for four. You can enjoy the private shower that comes with a vanity. The toilet facilities are conveniently located directly across the campground road. We provide bed linens, pillows, towels, dishes, silverware and the All Important Coffee Mugs.
