Springfield Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Hardy Trail, and a round of golf at nearby Montlake Golf & Country Club is a nice way to kill some time. Going for a hike along the Skyuka Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Soar down the rapids of North Chickamauga Creek in a kayak, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Homeaway Extended Stay Studios.

| | down from the sky makes Springfield Pond a wet site; most of the rain falls throughout March, and the driest month of the year is October. Hiking along the Lookout Creek Trail is great fun; unsurprisingly Clear Branch flows through this area. Bynum Gulch is near Springfield Pond and is a delightful location, of course you could also check out Crow Pond if you're here; it's not far at all.

right time of year, Deep Creek offers some pleasant whitewater. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Springfield Pond. One of the overriding features of the surroundings of Springfield Pond
is Grasshopper Hill; if you need a place to stay Colonial Inn is a fine choice. At Springfield Pond during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's.
The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Springfield Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're visiting Springfield Pond from Chattanooga, you won't be the only one. There's so
much to do here at Springfield Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Shipps RV Center and Campground is a great location for that.
