This lake is so wonderful. A glorious close by hotel is HomeAway Extended Stay Studios, and don't leave Springfield Pond without first going for a hike along the Skyuka Trail. At Springfield Pond you always meet someone from Chattanooga, and North Chickamauga Creek is a great whitewater spot close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Near Springfield Pond you stumble on a golf course called Montlake Golf       & Country Club, and Country Inn & Suites By Carlson-Chattanooga North at Hwy 153 is a good place to get some rest. Man, is there loads of entertaining things to do near Springfield Pond. Springfield Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly March, that's the one that rains the most, and October on the other hand is the driest. There are wonderful spots to explore along the Hardy Trail, and do explore Crow Pond, it's                  a striking lake. Go for a hike on the Lookout Creek Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Lookout Valley RV Park is a magnificent spot to camp. Bynum Gulch is near Springfield Pond and is a good place, and camping is available at Cedar Creek Mobile Home Park. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant view of striking Grasshopper Hill is available from Springfield Pond; a striking lake like Montlake is a splendid site to stop at. At Springfield Pond through the months of summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Springfield Pond.
