The high level of precipitation makes Spring Creek Lake a relatively wet site; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is August. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Battlefield Cafe and Camp Ground is always a great experience, and going for a       hike on the Forked Pine Nature Trail is always a fine adventure. Be careful coming to Spring Creek Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. A great nearby hotel is Generals Quarters B&B. From Spring Creek Lake you obtain a good panorama of Sand Mountain, and Econo Lodge Lexington is a great place to get some rest. High temperatures at Spring Creek Lake throughout the warm months are in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 60's. Through                  the winter highs are usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Spring Creek Lake.
