Custom Search     South Holston Lake     South Holston Lake is a glorious place for fishing. The waters of this lake consist of some glorious catfish, bass, bluegill, crappie, gizzard shad, shad, sunfish, threadfin shad and walleye. South Holston Lake is a gorgeous 1600 acre lake. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Country Club Of Bristol is a wonderful way to kill some time. Why not take a look at South Holston Dam since you're here, and in case you have a boat, Lakeshore     Marina is a fine marina. Love it. It's deep and clean. Hate they drop the water so low and so earily in the year tho. Hard for boats to get in and have to go to other places. Love the islands to stop and cook out and swim.
