Beautiful Simpson Pond has much to offer visitors. Simpson Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Golden Chain Campground is a glorious local campground, and do take a hike on the Chilhowee Forest Walk Trail. A tremendous location to camp here at Simpson Pond is Chilhowee Rec Area - Cherokee National Forest; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Arbutus Trail. This lake is so wonderful. | | Mouse Creek, it's near Simpson Pond; there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Gee Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Ramada Limited Cleveland; not far from Simpson Pond you'll come across C C Blankenship Lake which is a wonderful lake. So many fun things in the neighborhood of Simpson Pond, just astonishing. While you're here at Simpson Pond you can take a hike along the Big Pine Trail, and you're sure to encounter some great people | |

from Cleveland here. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Hoskins Lake. At Simpson Pond all through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 60's.
All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Simpson Pond. There's whitewater on Conasauga River for all you adrenaline kick people, and a golf course nearby is Cleveland
Country Club. Simpson Pond is a wet place that gets a great deal of rainfall; all through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is October. Walker Valley is a wonderful spot to explore close by; if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Cleveland is a nice choice.
