The friendly folks of Tullahoma like to hang out close by, and Boiling Spring is a fine local attraction. There's some flowing water nearby, Boiling Spring Branch is a stream you can go to during your stay, and Goose Pond is a great lake nearby. Summertime highs at Shay Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and       nighttime lows at Shay Lake throughout the wintertime generally sink into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Tennessee Hills Campground is a magnificent campground nearby, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not stop at Rigney Lake. Stay the night at Manchester Koa Kampground, and after a long day outdoors The Ambassador Inn and Luxury is a splendid site to spend a night or two. A lot of rain falls at Shay Lake; the wettest month of the year is frequently                  March, that's the one that rains the most while October is frequently the driest month.
