After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel is a good spot to spend a night or two; Shangri-La Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Manchester KOA is a wonderful local campground. Shangri-La Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here, and October meanwhile is the driest month. The peak of Ninemile Hill can be seen from Shangri-La Lake, and a nice spot to camp       here at Shangri-La Lake is Rau-wood Retreat Center. Shangri La Dam is a picturesque site next to Shangri-La Lake, and if you need a site to stay Nashville-Daystop West is a perfect choice. The warmest time of the year at Shangri-La Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while Shangri-La Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are                  in the 20's. Be careful coming to Shangri-La Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. A great place for whitewater paddling next to Shangri-La Lake is Little Harpeth River, and Old Natchez Country Club is a golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful.
