     Tennessee has many beautiful lakes and Shangri-La Lake is one of them. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Shangri-La Lake. Ninemile Hill can be spotted from Shangri-La Lake, and you're probably into lakes, Collins Lake Number One is one of those nearby. A brilliant spot to camp here at Shangri-La Lake is Manchester KOA, and Shangri La Dam is a lovely place. Shangri-La Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; March  
   is when you get the most rain here; October is when it's the driest.
Dry warm beds await you at Nashville-Daystop West; camping is available at Rau-wood Retreat Center. Throughout the summer months at Shangri-La Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Shangri-La Lake fall into the 20's. This lake is so
 
               wonderful. Old Natchez Country Club is a glorious golf course nearby, and as expected, this is a splendid region for people who like lakes, Collins Lake is a lake nearby.
A great spot to explore in close proximity to Shangri-La Lake is Vaughns Gap, and get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Little Harpeth River. You'll meet a lot of people from Nashville-Davidson—Murfreesboro here; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.

Two Rivers Campgrounds
16 miles away
Small, well kept campground that is privately owned and operated. Owners on site most of the time. During the season there is free live entertainment two or three nights a weeks. Always free coffee in the office for visitors. Front desk staff is friendly and can help you plan your stay in Nasvhille. Tours and show tickets available at the front desk as well.

Pets are allowed but you are required to keep them on a lease and pick up their messes.
