Shady Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Just can't get enough of the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Shady Lake has to offer, you can camp at Crossville Holiday Trav-l-Park; you'll come across a pretty lake called Lake Holiday. Crossville Days Inn is a perfect location to get some rest; for you golfers we recommend nearby River Run Golf Club. And if that's not enough there's loads

| | more exciting stuff to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. There's so much to do here at Shady Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake's Rocky Top Retreat is a fine place for that, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Daddy's Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Holiday Lake Dam right next door to Shady Lake is picturesque, and while you're here, you could visit Black Drowning Creek. During the months of summer here | |

at Shady Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat chillier of course, regularly in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's, and night lows at Shady Lake all
through the wintertime mostly drop into the 20's. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Shady Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Obed River; Shady Lake is not far at all
from Crossville.
The high level of precipitation makes Shady Lake a reasonably wet spot; during March this area sees the most rain; the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel
Crossville Tn is a great choice, and a delightful lake like Cumberland Mountain Lake is a fine place to stop at.
The Cumberland Plateau Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
