This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Shady Lake you can play some golf at River Run Golf Club, and the scenery at Holiday Lake Dam is lovely. Looking for something right next door to Shady Lake? Lake Holiday is around here; obviously Black Drowning Creek flows through this region. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Obed River, and Crossville Days Inn is a splendid       spot to get some rest. Be careful coming to Shady Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. There's so much to do here at Shady Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Crossville Holiday Trav-l-Park is a glorious location for that, and if you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel Crossville Tn is a great choice. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Shady Lake is not the only location nearby, Cumberland                  Mountain Lake is a nearby lake, and there's whitewater on Daddy's Creek for all you thrill seekers. This lake is so wonderful. So many exciting things in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, just mind-blowing. Shady Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Lake's Rocky Top Retreat is a delightful local campground, and if you're going to from Crossville, you won't be the only one. This lake is one of the great places here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. All the water falling down from the sky makes Shady Lake a wet site; all through March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is October. For the period of the warm days of summer at Shady Lake highs are commonly in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's.
