Clax Branch Golf Course is a golf course near Shack Lake; hey, Dry Branch is a great local stream. At Shack Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Shack Lake are in the 20's. Man, is there loads of cool things to do in the neighborhood of Shack Lake. Not far from       Shack Lake you obtain some perfect water scenery at Shack Lake Dam, and if you need a place to stay Parkview Motel is a splendid choice. Shack Lake commonly gets a large amount of rain; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and September meanwhile is the driest month. Shack Lake is a location with many visitors from Lawrenceburg. There's so much to do here at Shack Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tablerock Resort is a pleasant                  spot for that. David Crockett Motel & Storage is a wonderful place to get some rest.
