Many people like to go to Sandy Stand Lake. If you came to camp Abrams Creek Campground is a great place to do that; get yourself into a kayak and hit Little River. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Sandy Stand Lake, you'll hit upon Lake in the Sky which is a beautiful lake, and the summit of Ellis Butt can be observed from Sandy Stand Lake. Camping at Carpenter Campground is always a wonderful experience; a magnificent nearby hotel is Shamrock Motel.
